School's Out & 33 Days Left!

12.22.2007 Finals are finally through and not too much longer! I met the girl I'll room with, Eurah, and know that we will live up our time in France to the max! She is from Toronto. Sunday we had our last meeting with the Welch's and as we left, they said, "See you in Paris!" Then it hit...I'm ReAlLy gOinG! I'm vowing to try to be the most Parisian I possibly can: brunette, well mannered, French speaking, and classy!

50 Days & Counting...

12/6/2007 Bonjour! I am starting this blog to document my time spent in France this winter. Just a couple more months and 'bon voyage'! In my orientation class each Thursday we have been studying the culture, the places we'll visit, and the American 'faux-pas' that give us a bad image. I, Haleigh Heaps, am determined to be convincingly Parisian.
